Students self-assessing against PACT

Today I worked with a mixed ability group of students who have been working together on their chosen topic for a statistical investigation.

I introduced them to PACT for the first time.  Their task was to read through set 4, 5 & 6 of the statistical investigation big idea and assess where they thought their own statistical investigation sat.  The students had to articulate what set their investigation sat and how they knew.  They also had to explain why they thought they weren't the set above or below and what their next learning steps are in order to achieve the level above.
